Your Identity

Webster's dictionary defines identity as the relation established by psychological identification. Who do you identity with psychologically? Your parents? Your friends? Your culture? The folks on your timeline? We are constantly being sent images and messages about who we are and who we should be. But what does God say about your identity? Genesis 1:27 says that God created man in his own image. Isn't that amazing?! You share the divine, royal, powerful identity of the true living God. You are a Kingdom citizen! It is essential that you root your identity in Christ. The enemy's goal is to challenge your identity with lies, doubt, and confusion. If he can get you to be uncertain of who you are as a child of God, them he can get you to live beneath your purpose. Ephesians 2:10 says that we are God's handiwork. He created you and I intentionally for a very specific purpose. You are not only a result of your parent coming together and you are not merely defined by your genetic traits or your environment. You are who God says you are, you have what God says you have and you can do anything God says you can do. God promises that if any man be in Christ he is a new creation. Say bye bye to your past, your trauma and your mistakes.

AFFIRM IT:

  • I am Royal

  • My past is behind me and I have the right to recreate my story

  • I am Powerful

  • God has infused with the divine ability to overcome any obstacle.
